Who We Are

BOSCO Inc. (also referred to as BOSCO-USA) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a strategic advisory and support body for BOSCO Uganda. Founded in late 2006 by Gus Zuehlke, the organization is headquartered in Indiana and operates with an all-volunteer Board of Directors.

Mission

The primary mission of BOSCO Inc. is to mobilize relationships, resources, and technical expertise to empower the Acholi people of Northern Uganda.

Purpose

Bosco, Inc. focuses on supporting BOSCO Uganda’s efforts to build sustainable futures through access to information, clean energy, and economic opportunity. While the two organizations are distinct legal entities, BOSCO Inc. dedicates 100% of its budget to supporting activities in Northern Uganda

How We Operate

BOSCO Inc. operates through a Strategic Operating Model built on three key pillars:

Strategic Advisory

Providing non-operational guidance on technology, infrastructure (ICT4D), energy systems, and program design to ensure projects are scalable and fundable.

Global Partnerships

Identifying and stewarding relationships with U.S.-based institutions, such as the University of Notre Dame, private sector organizations, and foundations.

Fundraising & Development

Building a sustainable fundraising capability in the U.S. to support BOSCO Uganda, with a particular focus on capital expenditure for infrastructure and energy projects.
